Samson Masih, the father of a six-year-old female child, reported that his daughter was raped by a school employee in a primary school in Lahore.
The six-year-old girl Minahil attended a prep class at Hassan School System and Pre-Cadet studies in Lahore. According to a police report launched by her father, on Oct 31, 2024, Minahil returned home at 12pm. Minahil told her mother that the school janitor took her out of the school grounds and led her behind some bushes near the neighboring house, where he assaulted and raped her.

Minahil’s father, Samson Masih, filed a First Investigation Report (FIR) at Faisal Town Police Station in Lahore at 5:25 PM on October 31, 2024. Samson Masih has requested that strict action be taken against Hassan, son of Basham Ali, for committing a heinous crime against his daughter Manahil. He urges the harshest punishment to ensure that such incidents involving abuse of minors see a reduction in the future.
The victim’s father said the police are not cooperating with them: they are not handing over the medical report by the doctor. The grandmother of Minahil pleaded with the Chief Minister of the Punjab Province for justice. She also begged for the security and safety of the family. She fears that a “Catch and Release” policy may be adopted by the police in this case, where the victim is the child of a Christian family and the accused a Muslim.
