Although it is difficult sometimes to measure results, our goals for families that have received aid are:
1. Begin to live without fear and practice their faith with more freedom
2. Be able to earn their own living and become independent
3. For their children begin to go to school and break the poverty cycle in which many are trapped
We also have current and ongoing court cases to bring justice to those affected by religious discrimination resulting in violence, and for several underage girls who were kidnapped, raped, forced to convert and “marry” their abductor. (See “Their Stories“)
During Covid lockdowns and restrictions that deprived especially the daily wage earners in the slum areas, we were able to distribute food and supplies to over 500 families in a number of locations within three of the major cities in Pakistan. These took place during several initiatives. (See CAPC Response to Covid)
During the recent catastrophic flooding in Pakistan, we were able to be first on the scene with food and necessities for 350 people in two localities. (See News)
